Program Control Lead Position Summary

- The Program Control Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on the Integrated Master Schedule for the EDIS program, resulting in full synchronization of current operations, systems maintenance, systems improvements, and new mission integration.
- The Program Control Lead works in cross-functional teams with data at all stages of the analysis lifecycle to derive actionable insight.
- Translates mission needs into an end-to-end analytical approach to achieve results.
- Performs the pre- analytics areas of data collection and understanding, data cleansing and integration, and data storage and retrieval.
- Determines the appropriate analytics based on the data and the desired outcomes, using techniques including feature detection, statistics, data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, natural language processing, and business intelligence.
- Interprets the validity of results and communicates the meaning of those results.
- Has familiarity with data wrangling, analytics, and visualization software and programming languages, including analytics methods for big data.
- Follows a scientific approach to generate value from data, verifying results at each step.
- Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.
- Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives.

Responsibilities will include

- Develop, maintain, verify, and report on the EDIS Integrated Master Schedule
- Work with the Program Manager and senior management team to develop program strategy
- Potentially supervise other members of the planning team
- Reports to the Program Manager and directly supervises individual contributors in the program control team
- Interacts frequently with customers, internal personnel, and external mission representatives at various levels
- Participates and presents at meetings for SAIC and customer leadership


Secret clearance required and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI


- Significant experience in DoD space and ground systems operations, with considerable focus on integrated planning and scheduling
- Must have a minimum of 15 years work experience related to complex mission planning
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant engineering field, Quantitative Analysis, or closely-related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%
