Pay Range: 72400.00-108600.00
Responsibilities:
The Production Support Engineer will create, monitor, and troubleshoot business critical processes using a variety of data integration tools and platforms including WhereScape RED, Snowflake, and proprietary applications. Using these and other tools, the Engineer in this position is responsible for ensuring that applications and processes are executing as designed to meet operational SLAs.
Experience with SQL, PowerShell, and Python is required.
Other primary duties will include:
- Actively manage all scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure that jobs, scripts, and processes are executed according to established standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes that facilitate and enhance our Healthcare Eligibility & Recovery data activities and capabilities.
- Experience with low-code ETL tools or integration tools like SSIS (WhereScape RED a plus).
- Knowledgeable regarding GlobalScape EFT and file delivery over FTP/SFTP.
- Strong experience supporting data integration processes with business user interaction.
- Execute all scheduled production jobs accurately and timely including on-demand jobs.
- Schedule jobs with orchestration tools available and execute any manual processes.
- Monitor systems for failures and communicate issues or problems to Business Partners
- Experience troubleshooting data automation packages (e.g., SSIS, Talend)
- Proven experience in developing business process workflows.
- Able to work independently and without location-based management.
- Ability to work with both internal and external resources with varying levels of expertise is required.

- Ability to obtain and maintain client required clearances, as well as pass regular company background and/or drug screenings post-hire.

Physical Requirements:

- Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
- Job is performed in a standard busy office environment with moderate noise level (or may be home-office setting subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), sits at a desk during scheduled shift, uses office phone or headset provided by the Company for calls, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse.
- Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
- Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
- Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
- Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
- Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration jobs using a combination of ETL tools, scripting languages, and/or legacy systems.
- 3+ Years experience working with SQL, Powershell, and Python.
- Experience with file delivery via GlobalScape EFT or similar solution.
- Knowledge of healthcare data (i.e., claim processing, EDI, etc.) and workflows critical to exchanging healthcare data securely and efficiently a strong plus.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven experience in script development and analysis, including Batch, PowerShell, and Python.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot data automation packages (e.g., SSIS, Talend).
