This position is based in New Product Introduction Group (NPI) within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut.

## **Job Description**

To realize 'World Class' support to Manufacturing in order to ensure highest product quality, short lead-times and 'short time-to-market' by continuous improvement of ASML's new and existing products and processes.



* Support production issues with concise troubleshooting of the Electro-Mechanical systems and sub systems.


* Maintain and Troubleshoot Multi-Discipline (Hardware/Software/Electrical/Servo) Test Equipment


* Define and create Manufacturing procedures and specifications.


* Introduce new products into production in an existing “Concurrent Engineering” environment.


* Generate and maintain MRP controls of module production.


* Evaluate and optimize process flow.


* Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions.


* Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure.


* Evaluate and improve Cycle Time and reduce Labor Hours through continuous process improvement.


* Review mechanical drawings to assess manufacturability of new designs


* Evaluate test results from RGA equipment to determine if the parts, assemblies, or modules meet contamination requirements.


* Interface with internal and external customers regarding the build and test of assemblies and final products


* Create and direct equipment calibration, upkeep, and new equipment specification and procurement for all analytical instruments used in manufacturing.

## **Education**

Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience

## **Experience**



* Exposure to complicated assembly experience preferred


* Familiarity with integrated Hardware/Software Testers Preferred


* Working knowledge of Unigraphics, NX, Teamcenter, and SAP a plus.


* Experience with vacuum systems as plus


* Mechanical aptitude a plus


* Five to 10 years (or more experience & Co-op ok) in an Engineering environment


* Working knowledge of NX/Teamcenter preferred


* SAP, Statistical programs a plus.
