**Job Description Summary**

The Balance of Plant Product Strategy & Analytics Leader will be responsible for enabling our Product Development, Engineering and Sourcing teams to develop product solutions which optimize our competitive position with regards to scope beyond our core equipment (including Installation/Balance of Plant scope). This role will also gather and share competitive intelligence in this area of expertise, in order to inform investment and strategic decisions.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Build and maintain relationships with key Balance of Plant providers and EPCs (Engineer Procure Construction companies) in order to ensure proper alignment and understanding of value/cost drivers effecting Installation/Balance of Plant scope.

+ Drive engagement with regional teams to understand and document local requirements and constraints for Installation/Balance of Plant scope.

+ Work with the design teams to conduct Balance of Plant related trade-off assessments, provide Installation/BOP inputs, and drive cross-functional engagement to minimize landed cost and LCOE.

+ Develop business cases to prioritize Installation/Balance of Plant related product, tool, and capability developments to maximize value to GE and customers.

+ Explore new areas and technologies related to Installation/Balance of Plant where GE can innovate or bring value.

+ Define GEs competitive position due to Installation/Balance of Plant scope and enable and guide commercial teams to make optimal decisions based on this information.


+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited college or university

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wind, Engineering or Construction related areas.

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Deep expertise in wind related installation and Balance of Plant execution.

+ Demonstrated ability to form strong cross - functional relationships and align stakeholders around a common goal

+ Strong project management experience, leading cross-functional projects

+ Ability to distill large amounts of information and effectively communicate key messages

+ Self - starter, highly motivated, innovative and creative thinker

+ Proven analytical skill set and strategic mind - set, ability to quickly move from details to the holistic view and vice versa
