Job Description


The position is responsible for supporting the marketing product management function, and the institutional generic business segment.  Under general supervision, provide product management and analytical support for the Companys generic injectable product portfolio.   This position will help to develop and execute Product strategy around current in line products for the commercial business.  This includes qualitative and quantitative analysis of sales and profitability for key product segmentations. 

 

Responsible for creating and owning all marketing reports that assist in managing the generic injectable business.  Assist with reviewing the sku level unit and financial forecasts and suggesting steps to improve forecast accuracy. Interact with all levels of Teva management in commercial, finance, supply chain, and various other key teams.

 

 

  • Monitor all aspects of generic institutional commercial product portfolio.   Identify opportunities for product growth and competitive threats.   Manage products to give Teva a competitive advantage.   Align key commercial and supply chain teams to goals and needs of the commercial product strategy.  Collaborates with various teams and is a team player.  Provide input on potential new business opportunities, and commitment for supply.
  • Identify and lead various key projects to improve the planning process around products and customers.
  • Provide analytical support for in-line products.  Activities will include reviewing customer forecast for key accounts/key products, analyzing competitive landscape and flagging any actionable trends.
  • Utilize the corporate sales database to create and deliver sales reports for ad hoc reporting.  Analyze reports and recommend actions to be taken in order to maintain positive results and improve weaknesses in product portfolio.
  • Create and review market research data on a monthly basis to determine shifts in existing product markets. Make recommendations on course of action needed to take advantage of favorable opportunities and avoid unfavorable opportunities.  
  • Provide support for pipeline products on an ad hoc basis, with providing analytical support for New Product Launches, including customer compliance, pricing recommendations, and supply reviews so that we can provide strategic marketing input for pipeline products. 
  • Maintain trackers including but not limited to competitive pricing, forecast changes, NDC transitions and New Product Launches.
  • Create and deliver drug shortage notifications and competitive intelligence such as new market entrants to the team
  • Special Projects as assigned, or as business needs require.
Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:
4+ years of experience  in a sales, marketing role.  Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 3 years of Generics Marketing experience preferred.
Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred
Experience utilizing reporting systems such as, but not limited to, SAP, BI, Oracle, Hyperion, IQVIA, ValuTrak

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and powerpoint
  • Understand principles of mathematical and statistical computations, as well as budgets and financial plans
  • Work under time constraints and in pressure situations
  • Work independently to manage multiple projects, duties and assignments
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 5% domestic travel throughout the US and Canada.
