Job Description

Location:  Salt Lake City, Utah
Length: 14 weeks (May 10th through August 13th)
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (Monday-Friday) for 14 weeks summer 2021
Pay:  $17.00/hour

Tasks & Responsibilities:
 During the 14 week program, you will gain in-depth insights into the Analytical R&D department.
 Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
 You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Analytical R&D business unit.
 You will be involved in performing testing for the extractable/leachable work on final drug dosage packaging components.
 You will develop an extractable/leachable database for common leachable components found in plastics.  This will involve work specifically using liquid chromatography mass spectroscopy and gas chromatography mass spectroscopy.

Qualifications

 Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a concentration in Science (Preferred Chemistry)
 Fundamental understanding of Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
 Must have completed some wet chemistry laboratory courses
