Job Summary | The Sports Medicine Research Institute in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated post-doctoral scholar with expertise in rehabilitation or prevention of sport-related musculoskeletal injury or concussion. The post-doctoral scholar will work on projects funded by the Department of Defense including 1) a clinical trial examining rehabilitation strategies for chronic ankle instability or 2) injury prevention strategies for active-duty service members. This position will participate in laboratory data capture and analyses for ongoing research projects within the SMRI or at off-site testing locations. Candidates must possess the ability to pursue independent research projects and apply for extramural funding to support their efforts in a research area parallel to the mission of the SMRI. Applicants with experience providing research mentorship to graduate and undergraduate researchers will be given preference. |
