Job Summary | This Performance Analyst position fulfills analytic requests requiring data management and reporting, ad-hoc reporting and dataset creation, identifying data quality issues throughout the enterprise, and perform data integration and transformations of disparate datasets. The analyst may assist with the development of operational reports and dashboards, run standard queries and reports with or without modification to support end users. This position will contribute to documentation and metadata. The analyst position contributes to analysis including but not limited to performing descriptive, exploratory, and statistical analysis; creating statistical process control charting; designing metrics and interpreting results. This position will establish benchmarks and baselines for measures as well as summarize analyses to identify trends, correlations, and contributing factors for measures of interest. This position contributes to data governance processes and collaborates with master data management, data architecture, business intelligence, data science, and others in developing new capabilities on the enterprise data and analytic roadmap. The position will routinely assist with testing, validation, and review of analytic products produced by others; collaborate with engineers, administrators and health care providers to optimize processes and outcomes; be a contributing influence on improving targeted outcomes in projects using various improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, PDSA, Six Sigma, and other methodologies; and perform other duties as assigned. The position maintains strong customer service, responsive and professional communication, fosters a collaborative and accountable work environment, ensures effective delivery of team on projects, and leads continuous service improvement efforts for the team. This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted. |
