Role Summary:

As a member of Global Operations HR Team you will be responsible for a large, complex, or multiple operational processes focused on HR operations processes. Develop effective relationships with the internal and external suppliers that administer the process. Includes developing an in-depth operational systems and processes and legislative rules. Identify and resolve operational issues & support process improvements.



Essential Responsibilities:





+ Ensure 100% of payroll deliverables are provided in an accurate manner, based on calendars defined built on GEs necessities.



+ Process payroll information using the HR Global System (Workday) and validate the payroll calculation for all the recurrent processes.



+ Responsible for the quality of: payroll reports, labor accruals, monthly closing, benefits contributions, statutory payments & electronic accounting (as applicable).



+ Assure jointly with Finance Statutory and CETO team, obligations are being executed on time, accurate and in compliance (Social Security and Local Taxes).



+ Analysis of the payroll accounting data to deliver to the accounting team.



+ Prepare operating forecasts based on calendars.



+ Printing checks, collect signatures and guaranteeing final delivery.



+ Discussion of technical accounting issues.



+ Active support in internal and external payroll & benefits audits to mitigate company financial and contribution risks.



+ Analyze payroll issues and recommend corrective actions.



+ Participate in Projects according to Business needs.



+ Collaborate with the other department and provide cross functional guidance and support as needed.



+ Coordinate and manage interactions with vendors and customers for our day-to-day.



+ Develop effective relationships with customers (Businesses, HR, Finance, employees) and suppliers through proactive communication to provide outstanding service delivery. Proactively seek customer feedback to identify areas for process improvement, standardization and productivity within assigned process.



+ Drive productivity and compliance ensuring teams provide World Class customer service and advise on complex questions/requests from employees, businesses and HR partners.



+ Build and share knowledge of area of expertise by continually keeping up to date with internal and external updates and changes.



+ "One HR Team" Advocate: Positively engage in one HR collaborating with and supporting other HR colleagues.



+ Communication Skills: ability to adjust communication approach to suit a situation.



+ Process optimization oriented: Capacity to develop and implement standardize operational processes and monitor quality service levels.



+ Stress resistant with excellent time management skills.







Qualifications/Requirements:





+ 3-5 years process experience in Payroll & Benefits and team management, including payroll tax knowledge.



+ In-depth knowledge of the legal requirements related to payroll and labour relations.



+ Detailed knowledge of payroll systems and taxation rules.



+ A high level of calculation skills and a good general knowledge of accounting and competence procedures.



+ Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in related area (HR, accountant or business administration preferred).



+ Fluency in English.



+ Solid understanding of local statutory payroll, benefits rules and accounting reconciliation.



+ Demonstrated organization and analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.



+ Demonstrated project ownership and accountability.



+ Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.



+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.



+ High Customer Service orientation and Continuous Improvement orientation.
