Job Summary

The Patient Services Coordinator is vital to maintaining and promoting a positive relationship with the referral base for the UK Neurology Department.

Among other duties, this position serves as the liaison between referring providers and the providers within UK Neurology to ensure timely appointments and exchange of information.

This position also serves as the surgery coordinator, which includes scheduling and authorizations.

Organization, Coordination, Fast Pace Environment, Assertiveness, Clinical Knowledge, Computer Skills.
Medical Terminology, MS Office, Basic Coding Knowledge, MS Office Suite.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience

High School diploma plus 6 or more years related healthcare experience preferred.
