Job Summary

The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for the occulo-plastics and cornea subspecialties who will serve as the point of contact for managing physician schedules and responding to patient requests.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: optimizing physician clinic and surgery schedules, communicating with referring physicians, some patient appointment scheduling, responding to patient calls and requests in a timely and pleasant manner, and ensuring any insurance pre-authorizations for procedures are obtained.
Customer service and patient satisfaction are a focus and priority for this position.
