POSITION SUMMARY
- The OA is responsible for providing professional care within his/her scope of practice for patients assessing, education, scheduling exam, and maintaining accurate patient records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Must begin home study course in first year to work towards JCAHPO COA level certification
  - JCAHPO COA level certification preferred during 2nd year
  - Obtain CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
- Educational Requirements
- Experience Requirements
  - 1-2 years experience in medical field preferred, but not required
  - Previous experience using computerized system for data reporting, information storage and retrieval required
  - Excellent communication skills required
  - Detail oriented
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - The ability to maintain active patient/doctor communication during working shifts, up to eight hours per day.
  - The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer system.
