This position requires the ability to handle light-weight objects up to 10 pounds, or some standing or walking.

Shift

Must be able to work 40h/week, primarily days; may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet departmental needs.

Job Summary

The Adult/Pediatric Trauma Nurse Coordinator will work as a member of the Trauma Service team with the primary responsibility of nursing quality care for trauma patients throughout the continuum of care. They are an essential member of the trauma team and works collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure a plan of care for each patient that is comprehensive, patient centered, and focused on returning the patient to their pre-injury state of health. They will supply essential elements of care while maintaining appropriate care that considers related developmental milestones for each individual patient.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

ENPC preferred; current experience with pediatric trauma patients; personnel computer skills
