The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, may require some holidays.

The Developmental Behavioral Pediatric Clinic at UK is currently seeking a Nurse Team Leader. This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. This position will work closely with the division chief and providers to create, maintain, and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure continuity of care. The Nurse Team Leader works closely with the Practice Manager and Nurse Manager to operationalize ambulatory clinic issues, nursing directions, scheduling templates, protocols, and staffing models.

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need to protect our university community including our students, staff, faculty and visitors, the University of Kentucky is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all new hires prior to starting employment.
