POSITION SUMMARY
- Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Conducts clinic office visits and / or telephone visits to assess and respond to the patient’s condition. Works under the oversight of a supervisory physician.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - Current ND Board Nurse Practitioner License, required.
  - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
  - ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
- Educational Requirements
  - Education as needed to obtain and keep current ND Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience Requirements
  - Extensive knowledge of established medical principals and practices consistent with a Nurse Practitioner scope of care, required.
  - Experience in cardiology, preferred.
  - CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - None
