SUMMARY: Title and responsibilities will be determined in a progressive manner based on skill and expertise within the same job group. Operates molding machine and equipment to fabricate parts by performing the following duties. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values. Actively supports the Companys vision and goals.


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.


Operates injection molding machines to mold products.


Trims excess material from part, using knife or de-burring tool.


Count finished daily production using counting scales.


Records daily production in NAV.


Ensure parts meet all standard industry quality requirements and other job specific quality requirements.


May perform secondary machining operations at the press or in the tool room as necessary.


May mix thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments in mixing machine, according to formula.


May grind scrap plastic for re-use.


May perform janitorial type duties throughout the production floor, offices and restrooms.

This includes following established policies, following ISO 9001 & 14001 policies, business practices, and work instructions, using problem solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities, however all team members are expected to self-supervise to ensure the Companies Continual Improvement philosophy and Core Values are maintained.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.


 


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers and other team members.
