MMP Portfolio Manager, Business Development

Role Summary:The Multiyear Maintenance Program (MMP) Portfolio team is responsible for creating and sustaining an operating rhythm for GE Powers global MMP contracts.



Essential Responsibilities:

To deliver profitability in our cadence, our team must provide integrated internal solutions to deliver on our customers unique demands. Our customer-focused processes will span from initial ITO sales to annual OTR convertibility and will work with engineering, finance, and commercial functions to deliver customer and - by extension - GE shareholder value. We will proactively engage the regions to forecast and steward contract performance, share best practices, and suggest actions to drive profitability.













+ MMP contractual design: Work to create, clarify new terminology in standard MMP contract while quantifying value new terms create for customers and GE.



+ MMP contract best practices: Understand global MMP portfolio including MMP customers fleet size, buying strategy, mission type, etc. to understand MMP product offerings that can deliver superior value to existing and new MMP customers.



+ Customer planning, strategies: Ensure account teams adherence to customer planning processes as well as facilitate planning communications between account, region, and HQ teams



+ Contract database maintenance: Ensure data, systems, tools, and processes accurately reflect current contractual terminology

















Qualifications/Requirements:







+ Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college



+ Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial, Operations, or Finance functions





































Desired Characteristics:





+ Must be fluent in written and spoken English



+ Experience with GE financial modeling



+ Understanding of GE Gas Power technologies and product offerings



+ Resolve to persevere when faced with complicated, nuanced problems



+ Task-oriented bias to intentionally act to implement strategic solutions



+ Capable of using existing systems to quickly synthesize large, complex, and fragmented data into actionable insights



+ Patience in building sustainable processes, tools, and systems from scratch



+ Experience within Gas Power Services organization, working alongside those needed to make this team successful
