POSITION SUMMARY
- Combines and maintains one master patient file (index) for each patient within Trinity Health network. Merges duplicate medical records and patient encounters. Updates patient legal names as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - None
- Educational Requirements
  - High School Graduate or GED preferred.
  - Prefer RHIT or Associates in Medical Science.
- Experience Requirements
  - Prior medical record office experience required.
  - Minimum of two years of HIM experience or direct healthcare experience preferred.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Computer skills are necessary.
  - Must be able to communicate effectively with various departments and physicians.
  - Individual should have strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
