Position Summary

Guggenheim is seeking an exceptional Marketing Operations Specialist to join its Intermediary Distribution Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategies and Marketing Operations this person will join a fast-paced team responsible for the marketing and promotion of Guggenheim Investments premier financial products. In addition to general operational and administrative skills, the ideal candidate must be detail oriented and will demonstrate an ability to work with a team across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various marketing operations functions including fulfillment, budget reporting, regulatory material management, mailings and list management.

The Marketing Operations Specialist role presents an opportunity for a motivated candidate to participate in, and contribute to the growth of the organization and success of the intermediary distribution marketing and sales effort. The position is located in Rockville, MD.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support production of product marketing materials, (i.e. pitch books, fact sheets, email, etc.)
  • Manage the day-to-day fulfillment process for Guggenheim Investments, working with multiple vendors (fulfillment house) and various departments to monitor all orders and inventory.
  • Handle production process for the firm's regulatory materials including prospectuses, annual reports and semi-annuals including the processing of related compliance jobs.
  • Assist with the budget control process for the marketing department including managing and tracking departmental expenses. Facilitate bill processing and budget management process.
  • Ensure efficient execution of marketing processes by monitoring project schedules, and deliverables.
  • Support the marketing and sales process through data entry of leads/prospects into the firm's CRM system and cleaning of campaign email and mailing lists.
  • Support marketing operation efforts through special mailings and executing ad hoc projects as requests are presented.
  • Assist with eMarketing and Web efforts for initiatives related to email campaigns, web content production & management
  • Ensure all marketing materials (print or online) that are in production are not expired and in regulatory compliance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have demonstrated process improvement acumen and experience
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills with an exacting attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills and aptitude for utilizing workflow software applications, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite - Creative Cloud tools a plus
  • Experience and use of Seismic Document Management platform a plus
  • Must be savvy to interface with database and project tracking tools


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of marketing or marketing operations experience
