Job Description

Teva is searching for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team in Parsippany, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to begin or continue your career within a global pharmaceutical company. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Legacy Brands and Marketing Operations, the Marketing Operations Specialist will monitor and manage the US sales and marketing department processes and internal projects. May coordinate, gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple internal and external sources. Complies, reviews and analyses data working in a matrixed environment to get things done without direct reports. Uses software for functional areas to compile and generate reports, timelines, correspondence, and presentations. May be requested to design processes to enhance work flow. Work is primarily achieved by individual or through project teams by working under close/general supervision.

The Marketing Operations Specialist must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial corporate environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, very fast-paced and continuously changing. The ideal individual will have the ability to bring innovation into the role and exercise good judgement in a variety of situations. S/he will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to professionally work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of tasks or activities by multitasking and prioritizing. 


  • Cross collaboration with the Senior Executive Assistant (or equivalent) to the SVP of US Specialty Marketing and Sales in managing organizational rosters in Tevas Roster Management System, attendee lists, and communications within US Specialty Marketing and Sales and with internal Teva stakeholder partners (i.e., communicating rosters and contact information with departments).
  • Responsible for maintaining processes that lead to the efficient and effective operations of the departments that report into US Specialty Marketing and Sales. 
  • Manage project coordination of vendor work order management with Procurement and US Specialty Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Responsible for managing business systems in partnership with technical departments (i.e., work with IT on maintenance of Sharepoint site, Veeva, Tableau, Roster Management System, etc.).
  • Work with training department to coordinate training and professional development projects.
  • Submission of promotional materials in the Promotional Activity Review Committee system as needed to communicate from the US Specialty Marketing Operations department.
  • Plans and facilitates key meetings for full organization (Town Halls), leadership team (brand planning meetings), the Legacy and Marketing Operations team(s), and cross-collaboration forums (HCP and HCC)
  • Leads the US Specialty Products (USSP) Processes including, but not limited to: Temporarily Unavailable/Deletion Reporting and Process; Commercial Supply Preparation Process(es); Lifecycle management; EHR/EMR and compendia reporting; and Commercial Supply Inventory Discard Reduction Planning
  • May support purchase order (PO) generation and associated budget management for the Legacy Brands and Marketing Operations Team



  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience required: 0-1+ years experience in a fast paced, business environment (pharmaceutical industry a plus)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Microsoft Suite of software
  • Experience with SAP based platforms a plus


  • Basic skill level in MS Office including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Basic knowledge of teleconference and videoconference services.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills required to reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with tremendous attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
  • Forward looking thinker, self-starter who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently  

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: National and International travel approximately 10% of the time.


Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
