POSITION SUMMARY
- Assist the fast-paced Trinity Health Marketing Team with various day-to-day work. Helps to promote the organization through a variety of internal and external communications initiatives. Conducts research; writes and edits articles, press releases, ad copy, marketing collateral and patient literature; creates social media and web content; takes photos for use across multiple channels; participates in a variety of events and educational activities intended to build on positive relationships with stakeholders; adheres to brand standards and editorial style guidelines; collaborates within and across multi-disciplinary departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
  - None
- Educational Requirements
  - Enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program and in junior or senior year. Internship within semester blocks, target approximately 150 hours. Schedule will be determined prior to start (block could be extended more than one semester based on the needs of the organization and availability of the student).
- Experience Requirements
  - Experience in Marketing or office setting preferable.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
  - Strong communication skills are important in the marketing intern role. You will work closely with the marketing team to learn and develop skills. Both verbal and written communications skills are necessary.
  - You will be tasked with the creation of marketing materials and social media information, which requires creative thinking to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  - Working as a team requires collaboration. You must be able to communicate and collaborate to complete projects.
  - You may have multiple assignments and projects at one time. Good organizational skills help in managing schedules efficiently.
  - Most projects have strict deadlines that require strong time management skills.
