The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Manager helps with managing the information flow to and from our ERP system for supply chain related functions, while suppling analytics, KPIs, and data / reporting related support across all areas of Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, 3PL, and Warehousing to ensure Orgain's Price, Quality, Performance, Sustainability, and Social-Compliance objectives are met and improved upon year over year. This individual helps drive the design and implementation of KPI metrics, reporting, and tools to assist the Sourcing and Supply Chain teams in making the best decisions for the business. Integral to the position is clear communication, flawless and detailed project and team management skills, ensuring the best solutions for maintaining optimal timing and execution of sourcing and supply chain initiatives and activities. Superior supplier relationships, quality, and costs are crucial enablers to delivering on the Orgain promise, servicing our customers, and growing our business so that we can reach and inspire more consumers.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Capability to take data from disparate sources across the enterprise and synthesize information for meaningful business insights
Manage central data warehouse for item, inventory and sales data
Consult with business users to document business needs and document and design reports and dashboards to solve those business needs
Presents results of complex analysis and recommendations to senior management, using presentations, charts, graphs, etc.
Develops and implements innovative analytical methodologies and support tools for evaluating company processes, business problems, and/or ROI of products and services
Runs reports of varying frequencies for a variety of functional groups
Create ad-hoc customized reports for a variety of needs/functions
Prepares key performance indicator data and scorecards to support Strategic Sourcing top to top meetings and other strategic meetings
Design and develop analytical dashboards
Monitors key performance indicators compared to projections identifying potential issues, recommending solutions and corrective actions
Ability to provide analytical support and insight to a variety of sourcing initiatives
Capability to manage project plans, key milestones, and work cross-functionally to hold people to deadlines on a variety of different initiatives
Support Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, and Warehousing as needed with their categories and projects
Gather bid data and analyze complex supplier proposals and make award recommendations to the sourcing management and key stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business
Responsible for building efficient financial models that support competitive negotiating events
Ensure that processes are being followed and adhered to for SOX compliance
Responsible for providing guidance to Buyer's on cost changes and ensuring that they adhere to the contracts that have been negotiated
Project support as required for the department
Provide data and analytics support for pricing, commodity market indices, manufacturing scheduling and logistics
Set individual goals for improving and expanding on everyday job functions, as well as on the greater social and environmental aspects of your work. We expect that you remain accountable to these goals and report your progress in performance reviews.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A college degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
4+ years of relevant Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance experience working in CPG environment with focus on Food Manufacturing preferred.
Expert using SQL to query databases, create views, and manage stored procedures
At least 2 years experience using Power BI and DAX to create dashboards
Experience using Power Query is preferred but not required
Experience using Power Automate is preferred but not required
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft suite products.
Keen ability to take large data sets and synthesize into meaningful business based recommendations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to executives.
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of business programs/initiatives in response to changing priorities.
Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a streamlined manner to non-technical audiences.
Experience with a variety of different analytical tools.
Strong ability to mentor/guide other data analysts.
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
High energy level, initiative, creative problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.
Excellent team interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior service.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May supervise one or more Associates.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Position located within Orgain's Innovation & Support Center, Irvine, CA on a hybrid basis. Possibility of remote work.
May include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
