The Manager Data Warehouse Developer is a player-couch role responsible for highly advanced data management development work leading initiatives as well as train and provide guidance to less experienced staff as part of the data platform team for the Healthcare Eligibility business segment.  Diverse responsibilities include complex data modeling, Extract Transform Load (ETL), data quality, development of data sources, report and dashboard creation, performance testing, and maintenance responsibilities around existing data warehouse. The Data Warehouse Developer works under minimal supervision and with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to deliver Agile solutions.  This role requires a blend of technical savvy and leadership skills with the ability to earn credibility to lead technical staff

Essential Functions
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Performs advanced complex data warehouse architectural work including data warehouse design, data modeling, and business process automation development
Build required infrastructure for optimal ETL/ELT from various data sources using cloud and non-cloud technologies
Responsible for development, transformation, and ongoing quality management of business data objects sourced from a wide range of internal/external systems
Works closely with business SMEs to implement rules that govern business processes, corresponding data streams, and associated source systems
Deliver results aligned with business goals, given guidance in the form of high level objectives
Operate under minimal supervision, provide guidance and work direction for less senior staff, and lead by example.
Provide guidance, direction, training, and support to co-workers and team members. May direct workflow and review work. May provide input on performance of technical team members.
Telework in adherence with Company policies and requirements.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
Data Vault 2.0 practitioner
Familiarity with Snowflake / Cloud BI
Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and technologies
Familiarity with healthcare claims, eligibility, and/or EDI data
Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault 2.0 data modeling methodologies (DV2 a strong plus)
Proficient in WhereScape 3D & RED or other current low / no code ETL development tool
Advanced SQL skills
Requirements Management and Agile development
Multi-platform on premise and/or cloud environments
Demonstrated accomplishment as a SME to prioritize and meet tactical and strategic requirements for frameworks and systems to process data
Experience working in a fast-paced environment leveraging Agile development practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with various levels of management and staff
Excellent analytical, conceptual, and root cause analysis skills.
Proven success mentoring and providing leadership to developers/technical staff, and performing technical work reviews
Ability to lead large complex initiatives to successful completion with minimal direction in the form of objectives

Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to: able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.

Physical Requirements
**NOTE: Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements). Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
Job is performed in home-office setting (subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), performs work at a desk or appropriate work surface, uses system and headset provided by the Company for calls, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse.
Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar IT-related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner (CDVP2) - datavaultcertification.com
7+ years of relevant progressive experience, including data warehouse architecture development
Prior experience providing direct or indirect leadership for technical staff

Other Requirements and Notices
Must submit to and pass pre-hire background check, as well as additional checks throughout employment
Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors, nor on state/federal debarment or exclusion lists.
Must submit to and pass drug screen pre-employment (and throughout employment).
Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position requires submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company.
