Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the cost accounting portion of month end closing journal entries and reconciliation of related balance sheet accounts. Responsible for reporting package for month end close meeting, including flux analysis for inventory and Other Cost of Goods Sold
• Responsible for leading all aspects of the standard cost process including establishing new material standards, updating labor routings and recalculating overhead rates. Yearly cost run
• Analyze and understand manufacturing processes, variances, objectives and issues
• Ensure that internal controls (SOX) are functioning as designed audit support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business with accounting concentration or equivalent experience
• 5+ years Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills highly organized
• Must be willing and able to work in a fast paced environment, perform well under pressure
• Proactive, open minded with a positive attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
