Position Summary:

Responsible for managing the data and developing reports that support ACADIAs Compliance transparency, auditing and monitoring obligations. Provide in-depth analytical review of data to identify trends, risks and training opportunities for the Compliance department to address.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Compliance department with the oversight of initiatives to ensure compliance with the Companys Code of Ethics and US Healthcare Compliance Manual.
  • Manage the administration and tracking of company compliance policies and training.
  • Manage content development agencies to update training platform.
  • Manage department calendar of reporting obligations and key milestones.
  • Responsible for the collection and processing of data in ACADIAs spend transparency portal.
  • Manage department trackers for training, monitoring, auditing and investigations. Develops quarterly monitoring dashboard to summarize key activities and findings to Senior Management.
  • Provides key analytical insights through collaboration with the sales force, commercial leadership, data governance and IT teams.
  • Executes key auditing activities including:
    • Email review
    • Expense reports
    • Medical information requests
    • Sponsorship requests
    • Speaker bureau records
    • Consultant spend
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Requires a bachelors degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical and/or life sciences industry with a compliance or analytical role. Auditing and data management experience required.

Must possess:

  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical compliance issues
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Preferred working knowledge of the Porzio Aggregate Spend system
  • Ability to uncover insights and summarize results in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work effectively across functions as a team player
  • High level of integrity with the ability to maintain the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Self-starter who will continuously looks for opportunities to improve processes
  • Interest to grow into a compliance leadership role

Scope:

Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of functional area objectives and their impact on, and interaction with, other functions within the organization. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
