Role Summary:To further consolidate and strengthen our GE Renewable Energy Wind

turbine service and maintenance teams in Spain, Zaragoza province, we are looking for a qualified

and committed Wind Field Technicians Foreman.

Essential Responsibilities:Coordination and monitoring of incident resolution:

+ Coordinate the teams and resources to resolve incidents

+ Ensure the supply of materials for the resolution of


+ Planning and follow-up of work execution at weekly / monthly level

Regular checking of the operation of wind turbines, trying to detect problems in advance:

+ Know and perform corrective maintenance actions

Client management:

+ Daily customer service on operator level demand

+ Agree with the operator-level client weekly work schedules

Operation and monitoring of windfarms and job:

+ Validate the work parts of own personnel, subcontractors and other services

+ Ensure that the tracking of the main components of the wind farms under their charge is kept up-to-date

+ Ensure the availability of each wind farm, analyzing together with the Field Operations Manager (FOM) to propose the action plans necessary to achieve this objective

+ Monitoring of other people's stops

+ Monitoring of the notable incidents

Compliance and monitoring of the PMP:

+ Planning together with RA of the PMPs in the parks under responsibility and execution followup

Management and control EHS-Q:

+ Inform the RA about accidents and incidents and collaborate in the analysis of them

+ Conducting security meetings

+ Know, monitor and assign the correct allocation of NQ costs

+ Know and comply with quality procedures in the park

+ Ensure the quality of execution of the work of own personnel and subcontractors, as well as the status of wind turbines

Personnel management and vehicle control:

+ Organization of holiday periods, breaks and programming of guards

+ Management of medical examination, sick leave, permits, among others

+ Control of vehicle use

+ Management of repairs and vehicle checks

+ Organization and optimization of resources adapting them to the work needs together with the RA


+ Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer)

+ Team leadership skills

B2 english level or higher

+ Familiar with MS-Office operating system

+ Familiar with PLCs

+ High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems

+ Team player, cooperative, interested in further development

+ Confident personality

+ Able to work at heights and high level of physical fitness

+ Structured worker with technical analytical abilities

+ High degree of

flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure

+ Prepared to travel throughout Spain and abroad

+ Willing to work sometimes also at the


+ Class B driving license

+ EU Work Permit

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
