Experience with Tableau and Alteryx and an aptitude to learn related programs is necessary. The ideal candidate would also be able to teach introduction to financial accounting and managerial accounting, as needed.

Job Summary

The Von Allmen School of Accountancy in the Gatton College of Business and Economics seeks to fill a full-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer position, beginning in the Fall, 2020. Contract is for two years and renewable. The successful candidate will have prior professional accounting and teaching experience. A Masters Degree in Accounting or a related field and a CPA are required. Experience with Tableau and Alteryx and an aptitude to learn related programs is necessary. Primary responsibilities include teaching classes in accounting systems and data analytics. The ideal candidate would also be able to teach introduction to financial accounting and managerial accounting, as needed. Other duties will include advising student organizations, supervising internships and the development of data analytic projects for use in other financial, audit, tax and managerial courses.
