Role Summary:The Learning Leader, USCAN Commercial L&D will lead the development and delivery of USCAN Universitys Commercial Skills Program 200-level course content and the development and delivery of USCAN Universitys Commercial People Leader Program.

Essential Responsibilities:The Learning Leader will partner with Sales Leaders, Human Resources, Product Training Leaders, USCAN Marketing & Operations, and Commercial Learning to define and execute training strategies. These strategies will align with business objectives for USCAN Sales Managers across all levels emerging, new, experienced, applicable to direct and indirect leaders.

This Learning Leader position will design the curriculum and build programming and content consistent with USCAN Universitys established design philosophy; utilizing a role-based curriculum built on a structure of increasing depth of content (ie: 100, 200, 300-level coursework). The Learning Leader will also be responsible for using contemporary adult-learning and instructional design principles. The Learning Leader is responsible for delivering content via a variety of methods eLearning, ILT, VILT and other contemporary methods. The Learning Leader will be responsible for managing curriculum and assigned learners in GEHCs LMS (Adobe Captivate Prime).

+ Partner with USCAN Commercial Leadership and HR to perform a needs analysis to identify gaps in Commercial People Leader and 200-level commercial needs and develop engaging leadership programs to close the gaps

+ Identify cross-business collaborative opportunities to leverage best practices in training and drive standardization across all USCAN Regions and Markets

+ Create and deploy strategic leadership development programs to build USCAN Commercial leadership pipeline.

+ Translate business needs into strategic leadership development initiatives and drive them to successful outcomes

+ Deliver regular Commercial Leader and 200-level commercial courses, including all tracking, certifications, report cards

+ Analyze course metrics and continuously refine curriculum to meet contemporary needs and monitor the impact of leadership development programs

+ Partner with USCAN eLearning Instructional Designer to create digital learning options as part of Commercial Leader and 200-level commercial curriculum

+ Integrate with Product Training Leaders to ensure pull-through and activation of commercial skills as needed; incorporate Product Training into curriculum as required

+ Achieve Certification in applicable core Leadership Skills training (ie Situational Leadership or other) courses offered by USCAN University. Deliver as needed.

+ Proficiency in course and learner management in LMS.


+ Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of learning & development experience or 5+ years in a sales/ commercial leadership role in or supporting a commercial organization

+ Master Trainer (or similar) certification or proven delivery experience

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrated classroom and virtual presence and delivery skills

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with and influence senior leaders

+ High level of organization, project management, and time management skills

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently to drive results

+ Willingness to collaborate

+ Proven commitment to learner experience excellence and a learner-first attitude

+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where tasking is often loosely defined.

+ Ability to resolve or manage conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid grasp of English grammar and usage.

Desired Characteristics:

+ Knowledge of GEHC Sales Process and Commercial organization

+ Sales or significant experience in the commercial organization, understanding of Commercial mindset and learner needs

+ Proficiency in e-learning course development

+ Experience/expertise in instructional and curriculum design, adult learning

+ Adobe Captivate authoring and other LMS experience a plus
