In this crucial role you will successfully develop product strategy, manage product offerings including value proposition, features, functionality, pricing and distribution across all channels. Assist in the execution of the WU long-term visions and strategies through the initiation of new product projects. Identify and prosper specific business opportunities (products, services, up-sell/cross-sell) based on knowledge and insight extracted from deep customer, market and industry analysis. Identify, research and explore new sources of growth including but not limited to areas such as Mobile, Internet/eCommerce, Telephone and other non-traditional markets/channels.

You will assist in the examination of new market opportunities through investigation to identify potential product offerings, strategic alliances, new consumer markets and other opportunities that could drive new growth sources. Assist in building business cases for each new opportunity to clearly outline, prioritize and determine overall revenue potential. Assist in the sizing and scoping of each opportunity identified to determine both the short and long term opportunities for the organization. Work hand in hand with other groups within the organization including Finance, Business Intelligence, Product Management, CRM and others. Knowledgeable about the WU system in order to coordinate deliverables needed to achieve top and bottom-line goals through on-going positive negotiations with stake-holders in the WU system in order to build sustainability for future growth.

You will partner with CRM, Marketing, ANM, New Product Development, Operations, Systems and other functional teams to strengthen the product, resulting in new customer acquisition and significantly expand base of loyal customers. Collaborate with Marketing to deliver on new growth initiatives that will generate profitable growth for the business. Lead marketing strategy and coordinate marketing efforts aimed at specific customer segments that meet business goals. Coordinate and execute Product vision, strategies, program and initiatives to transport and activate the Global Brand message at the local consumer experience level. Monitor and make suggestions for improvements to the consumer experience across the business to further enhance the overall WU value proposition. Conducts comparative analysis against competitors and provides strategic planning of product direction and features. May also lead and manage aspects of the P&L.

You will need 6+ years experience. You will have Agile experience, certification preferred.

The annual gross base salary range is $117,289-195,482 USD Annual. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
