**Job Description Summary**

The Lead Software and Analytics will work within our global team of development engineers in an agile based process to develop and implement various types of analytics, visualizations, and software tools focused primarily on the services side of our business portfolio. This role also offers candidates a significant opportunity to gain experience working within a globally diverse team with a broad range of skills to learn.

**Roles and Responsibilities**



+ Troubleshoot software and analytic defects to determine root cause, corrective actions, and in some cases preventative actions.

+ Perform advanced data-mining and business outcome studies using state-of the art tools and technologies, with an end goal of delivering value add software & analytic products.

+ Collaborate with global development teams as needed to achieve common goals in agile process

+ Participate in global agile team meeting tasks including, prioritization, developing user stories, detailing development tasks required, and completing development tasks.

+ Put your engineering domain knowledge to work while developing and delivering innovative software & analytics solutions.

+ Contribute to teams continual process improvement journey



**Required Qualifications**



+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university or college

+ Minimum of 3 years software development related experience



**Desired Characteristics**



+ Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

+ Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

+ Java/Full Stack Development experience

+ Experience within cross functional Agile development teams

+ Direct experience with Python, SQL, cloud based solutions (AWS), Tableau/Spotfire, etc.

+ Direct experience with Github, Rally, automated testing tools, IT standards, etc. Develop and maintain REST APIs/Services
