Lead Sales Specialist - Account Sales

Role Summary:The primary responsibility of the role is to grow sales and the customer base in the Transmission and Distribution domain in the Spain, Portugal and some French speaking accounts. In collaboration with the broader Grid Solution organization as well as the other GE businesses grow the business and customer relations and transform into an order pipeline for Digital Grid products and services to end user customers within Spain and Portugal.

Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

Build an opportunity pipeline and select, address and win on existing and new customers.

Establish, cultivate and maintain customer relations at appropriate decision-maker levels.

Develop new market and customer opportunities within existing accounts and new customers and segments

Monitor our customer satisfaction and ensure that action plans deliver corrective actions in case of customer complaints

Assist in the go-to-market strategy for new software products, services or offerings

Orchestrate the answers to RFP and spontaneous or unsolicited offers

Support Negotiations of contracts and close deals

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting; compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions

Implement the execution framework on identified opportunities, which includes the orders forecasting to deal closure.

Manage assigned initiatives to maximize long-term to maximize profitability.

Provide market and customer feedback to Region, Segment and product line organization, including product development needs, market trends, pricing and competition

Targets will be defined for both Sales quota in the assigned territory and Sales quota for the accounts opportunities managed directly.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to travel 50% of time

Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in science, engineering, technology or related discipline.

Proven track record of account management and sales success.

Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and Operating Technology (OT) industries (software products, markets, technology trends).

Knowledge of energy value chain and the transmission and distribution segment.

Customer oriented/Growth mindset

First class sales acumen with strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.

Negotiating & closing skills.

Proactive work style, creativity, energy. Ability to work under pressure in a distributed, pan-European and matrix sales structure. Self-starter with high energy level is key to success in this position.

Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationships / team building.

Unyielding commitment to integrity and the GE values

Language: Fluent in Spanish, French and English. Portuguese is a plus
