Lead Project Manager

Role Summary:

Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability,

and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.

Working with EPC large projects, in the Grid Solutions Business in Brazil.



Essential Responsibilities:

Project Management:







+ Understand project objectives, strategy and requirements (deliverables,

tasks,

responsibilities, interfaces, costs, duration);



+ Elaborate a Project Management Plan

in accordance with the used standard process and tools.













Planning

Management:







+ Analyze Project critical path and

manage time risks, set priorities

and drive people accordingly on reasonably complex projects;



+ Negotiate schedules

and plans with customer project manager.













Risk Management:







+ Identify and manage opportunities;



+ Identify and

implement risk

mitigation plans;



+ Understand ROR procedure and update ROR.













Contract

Management:







+ Build and Manage claim and

VOs Registers, identify clauses in the Contract giving entitlements to the Contractor in terms of

Time extension, variation orders, claims;



+ Write entitlement letters referring to the

correct contract clause and respecting the contract procedure.













Communication

Management:







+ Share information with different

teams;



+ Convey

information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining

rationale;



+ Confident and clear in communication and discussion of factual data with a

familiar audience.













Finance Management:





+ Set-up complete project budget including

costs

/ margins and cash;



+ Identification of cost discrepancies

Ability to monitor cash evolution and take actions;



+ Foresee margins at completion and cash

consumption / generation along project, define and proceed with appropriate action plans to

optimize the figures



+ Develop monthly sales forecast;



+ Develop simple

cost and revenue recovery plans.













Procurement Management:







+ Plan procurement, follow procurement & delivery in

coordination with procurement department;



+ Support procurement department in

supplier relationship & conflict management;



+ Provide necessary information to

qualify supplier.







Qualifications/Requirements:



+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;



+ Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Project

Leadership;



+ Background on Energy market;



+ Solid experience on management of complex projects, including large

EPC projects;



+ Experience on working with both private and

public customers - including management of projects under Brazil Law 8.666;



+ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;



+ Ability to

influence others;



+ Fluent English and Portuguese.
