**Job Description Summary**

The Technical Publications Integrator is accountable for the successful planning, implementation, and delivery of the technical publications for our military and commercial engine manuals and the delivery of avionics and electrical power technical publications. Works with a variety of Product Support Engineers, Design Engineers, Supply Chain, and other functions to provide effective updates and new product creations driven by customer and Engineering requests. The role is fast paced and provides our customers with the ability to maintain their high-quality GE Aerospace engines and systems. Responsible for regularly reviewing project deliverables and monitoring our suppliers performance. Working knowledge of creating and maintaining Military and Commercial Technical Publications. Working knowledge of engineering drawings, design changes, and source data creation and implementation.

**Roles and Responsibilities**



+ Working knowledge of creating and maintaining Military and Commercial Technical Publications.

+ Working knowledge of engineering drawings, design changes, and source data creation and implementation.

+ Familiarity of HTML, XML, and SGML languages used in Technical Publications authoring.

+ Process tracking, metrics tracking. Responsible for headcount and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision making.

+ Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

+ Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

+ Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.



**Required Qualifications**



+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering / Technical Publications).

+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering operations

+ LEAN skills and experience

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
