As a Lead Application Developer (Front-End UI) you would be joining us during a time of transformation and growth in our Compliance Solutions (CoSo) group that touch a range of solutions that include tax, compliance, wage payments, wage garnishments, employment verification, W-2 management and much more. In this role, you will be a key part of the CoSo's Next Generation Tax Platform that lays the foundation for the company's tax compliance products for companies of all sizes. We are looking for someone who's had real world experience in delivering digital products at scale and talk intelligently about the problem statement, benefits, and the "why." As a Lead Application Developer (Front-End UI), you not only have a strong command of solution design and software development, but you're also well versed in cloud technologies such as AWS serverless solutions that's designed to solve some of the biggest problems in the industry. This is a highly visible position that's responsible for developing innovative, flexible and scalable solutions. In this role, you will make positive contributions to strengthen our product that will allow ADP to continue to be the global HCM leader.

We are the home to a variety of tech and product teams, all of which have strong identities and pride in what they do.



  • You will be a part of delivering ADP's next generation tax solution, a strategic initiative for the company and one of the key pillars of our core business
  • You'll partner with product and UX to deliver a scalable, reusable front-end experience that aligns with the company's One UX strategy
  • You stay close to your customer and end-users. You listen to their needs and understand their pain points. You are a champion of frictionless user experience and know how to implement it.
  • You'll lead a scrum team and provide clarity on what needs to be done, assign these to other team members and orchestrate these events to meet deliverables and deadlines
  • You're a steward of quality. Quality driven development is paramount to ensure our users can use our system with minimal interruptions.
  • You'll be delivering in the cloud where continuous integration and delivery is the norm
  • With Operational Excellence being one of our key goals, it is critical that you manage project timelines, deployment and operational plans, and budget and ensure that business requirements are met with high quality.
  • Collaborate with other architects, developers, product management and other key stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements
  • Implement security guidelines, collaborating with the security team
  • Generate proper designs, diagrams and documentation of the implemented solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and motivation to junior developers and contractors



  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a UI / front-end developer and at least 2+ years using Angular or React frameworks
  • Real world experience working with a wide array of front-end technologies and have delivered scalable, enterprise grade solutions
  • Simplify and/or enhance APIs that is designed for the right experience and allows the system to scale
  • Have implemented and delivered reusable, scalable design systems such as Stencil.js
  • Understanding of AWS and / or serverless technologies and data architecture such as NoSQL or document database is a big plus
  • Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools
  • Experience with markup languages (JSON, XML)
  • Experience with API standards and API Gateways
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
