LATAM Services EHS Leader

Role Summary:Reporting to the LATAM EHS Manager, the successful candidate will lead EHS in LATAM for the Digital Services wind business within Renewable Energy. The candidate will oversee the implementation of initiatives and cohesiveness among the entire region; on this duty will partner with the Service EHS leader and the regional EHS teams towards driving consistency in execution, managing risk reduction and fostering productive customer, industry and contractor relationships.

Essential Responsibilities:







+ Liaise

with the Digital Services General Manager, developing strategic goals and objectives,

and deploying a structured EHS Plan for the entire P&L in LATAM;



+ Collaborate

with Customers to build strategic relationship in order to facilitate

implementation of EHSs programs;



+ Represent

GE on Technical and Regulatory Agencies, seeking to ensure compliance with

local regulators;



+ Ownership

of Management System effectiveness, maintenance and improvement through

periodic audits and regular follow-up on audit finding/RCA/NCA closures Analyze

and drive EHS process improvement and best practice sharing;



+ Coordinate

technical team to deploy EHSs programs at site, ensuring all operations are

carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory and GE requirements,

ensuring adequate resources allocation with skills and experience to support workload;



+ Partner

with the technical training team and Services Engineering to ensure continuous

improvement in design, training and competence management;



+ Ensure

all internal and external EHS reporting is completed on time and with accuracy;



+ Manage

service auditing planning and roll up regional reporting and data analytics.









































Qualifications/Requirements:







+ Robust experience in EHS or Operations, with exposure to areas in a Projects

or Services environment;



+ Engineering

bachelors degree with Safety Engineering Post-Graduation certificate or Business

Administration with NEBOSH Course or similar, and mandatory previous experience

in EHS;



+ Deep

knowledge of Brazilian regulatory standards on EHS;



+ Experience

with Customer Relationship is a plus;



+ Solid

RCA/problem solving experience, Fluent in written and spoken English and

Spanish acknowledgement;



+ Ability

to travel a minimum of 50%.
