Physical Requirements

Required routine handling of light-weight objects up to 10 pounds, or some standing or walking for extended periods.


Normal shift is 8 hours during weekdays, but some evening or weekend periods may be necessary.

Job Summary

The NIH funded laboratory of Dr. Brian Delisle is continuing to need experienced technical staffing support for assistance with experiments using mouse models of cardiomyocyte malfunction.

The position will assist in performing a variety of cellular, molecular, or biochemical hands-on experiments; upkeep of a mouse colony; and maintenance of an organized laboratory.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Proficient and IACUC compliant small animal care; Basic lab skills, (e.g., pipetting); basic computer skills (e.g., MS windows, excel).

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelors Degree in a related field (science preferred) plus plus two or more years of working experience in a research laboratory preferred.
