You will work as an integral part of a Knowledge Management team to author and edit content adhering to ADP's authoring standards while also being an advocate for the client and associate experience. In this role you will meet the information needs of our clients and associates by producing accurate, concise, and usable content, including business processes, how to articles, troubleshooting guides, overviews, online help, and others. You will utilize authoring tools, a component content management system, and work closely with business partners, content developers, project teams, training teams, and others to ensure high-quality deliverables.



  • Participate in the implementation of KM Content Strategy, which would include, scoping content work and performing content inventories, content reformatting and development and migration of content.
  • Assess and align business content to ADP's standards.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of user content needs, develop requirements, and estimates for deliverables, partnering with Internal teams and other stakeholders in the process.
  • Apply enterprise content strategy and principles to develop concise, consistent, high value content deliverables.
  • Ability to translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to obtain information and content validation.
  • Develop content deliverables in the enterprise content management application.
  • Report progress of content deliverables to stakeholders and adhere to timelines.
  • Demonstrate authoring expertise and provide informal mentoring to colleagues when need arises.
  • Collaborate with content owners to validate knowledge and foster content reuse.
  • Able to support multiple BU partners while working on deliverables.
  • Support enterprise standards and style guide for enterprise KM
  • Act as an expert regarding authoring technology and content development.
  • Contribute to the design and development of usable content for BU partners.
  • Perform other content related duties as assigned.




  • 3+ years' experience in a knowledge management/content development and/or writing documentation or training materials, such as including guides, tutorials, and white papers.
  • Knowledge of the Human Capital Management (HCM) Domain
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strongmulti-team playerwith outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • A history of fearless hands-on investigation and product use and a strong customer advocate mentality.
  • Comfort with agile, swiftly changing, dynamic software development situations.
  • Ability to learn new technologies/domainsquickly.
  • Ability to establish and follow style and usage guidelines.
  • Ability to follow and evangelize cross-team processes.
  • Understanding of knowledge/content management best practices and content lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge in structured based authoring and information typing preferred.
  • Knowledge of DITA, XML, component content management systems preferred.
