SUMMARY

Operates machines to image checks, drafts, and money orders for collection and to prove records of transactions. Also operates machines to prepare customer statements for mailing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Places checks into machine that images and cancels check.
• Enters amount of each check.
• Reads check and enters data such as amount, bank, check number, or account number.
• Reviews checks deposited through the branch and through Internet banking applications. Balance each batch of checks and rechecks each item if totals differ.
• Electronically processes checks to create an outgoing Cash Letter containing checks, drawn on other banks, for collection and transmits it to the Federal Reserve Bank before the daily deposit cutoff time.
• Enters commands to transfer data from Item Processing system to be bank's CORE.
• Cleans equipment.
• Records and proves other transaction documents such as deposit slips.
• Processes incoming cash letter from the Federal Reserve Bank.
• Prepares customer statements using Neopost equipment for mailing.
• Prepares eStatements for business and consumer checking/ money market, and savings accounts.
• Prepares processed remittance coupons for storage or destruction.
• Prepares internal department documents for image processing.
• Images documents from internal departments.
• Uploads imaged documents to the bank's CORE system.
• Other duties may be assigned.
