Job Summary | The Enterprise Technology Architect will be a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team, working side by side with business, data, cloud, applications, and solutions architects. The architect will be required to leverage deep technology experience (including network, storage, compute, cloud, etc.) and an awareness of current technology trends to design standardized and repeatable architectures in support of UKHCs business objectives. Additionally, the technology architect will be required to lead the creation and evolution of technology roadmaps that inform current, transition, and future state architectures. The architect must be skilled in the use of architectural frameworks, design patterns, and tools and must be capable of leading the key members of the technology organization. This person will be capable of operating at multiple levels from providing project guidance to leading key aspects of the strategic planning process. The primary deliverable of this architect is technology architecture that supports the companys business goals and provides the most efficient and secure IT environment possible. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Qualified candidate must have the following abilities\characteristics: Ability to develop and document standardized/repeatable designs Develop technology standards for the organization, apply them consistently to designs, and document designs in the Enterprise Architecture repository. Ability to understand and Interpret Requirements Probe for information, listen to and influence others, facilitate consensus building, synthesize and translate ideas into actionable requirements/designs, and articulate those ideas to others. Knowledge This architect must be familiar with architecture development, have deep core technology experience (networking, storage, compute, applications, cloud, etc.), and have experience developing enterprise technology strategies. Influence The architect must have a strong set of soft skills and have experience using those skills to influence direction of the technology organization. Grit The architect must have the ability to persevere through difficult decisions, opposition, and challenges. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Masters degree and experience with TOGAF 9, ITIL V3, Cloud Technologies highly preferred. |
