Role Summary:In this role you will be part of the new formed Cypress Projects CoE within GE Onshore Wind APAC business. Acting as functional leader/subject matter expert for Cypress installation in the region leading the construction and installation readiness and operational efficiency for projects with our new turbine (Cypress).



Essential Responsibilities:



+ Lead the construction and installation readiness and operational efficiency for projects with our new turbine (Cypress).



+ Act as functional leader/subject matter expert for Cypress installation in the region.



+ Oversee all mechanical and electrical installations steps to gain and share the process knowledge within onshore wind APAC and with other regions.



+ Help project teams get ready for installation work, mitigate risk and solve installation related problems.



+ Plan and facilitate construction and installation knowledge transfer and people development (trainings, on the job trainings, manuals, processes and tools) from global and Bango (1st Cypress project) project teams to following projects in APAC region.



+ Capture and share lessons learned



+ Measure, validate and review of all Cypress installation cost out, productivity and constructability improvements





+ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, PM, EHS, external customers, installation leads in other regions, Cypress Deployment leaders responsible for sub-regional Cypress readiness and other functions.





Qualifications/Requirements:



+ Engineering degree in mechanics or electro technology with proven work experience in installation and field operations in wind industry



+ Minimum 15 years of experience in field operations, as of minimum 5 as installation or site manager in wind industry



+ MS Office tools and 3D visualization tools experience



+ EHS Advocate; detailed knowledge about EHS & Safety regulations



+ Funded knowledge and experience in Quality processes and documentation



+ Strong verbal and written communication skills



+ Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (~75%).



+ Ability to be on project sites during critical installation work.
