The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment (CAFE) IT Team is looking for an energetic, versatile, people-oriented person to join our team. The Info Tech Manager I position, leads the IT Systems Team and provides administrative and technical support/management for college information systems. Duties include project management/team leadership, installing, configuring, upgrading, or migrating database software, create and maintain reliable, stable network platforms with an emphasis on virtual environments, serving as an administrator and architect, and backup duties within the IT Systems Group. The individual will also model and promote excellent customer service, participate in continuous improvement activities, and evaluate and apply new or revised methods and technologies that result in improved systems performance, reliability, and availability.

Knowledge of Windows Server OS, Linux, Virtualization platforms, server hardware, Active Directory, firewalls, and security. Ability to lead and work within a Team oriented environment.
