Job Summary | Hourly Graduate Research Assistant position for Spring 2021 semester (up to 20 hours per week; $15/hour) – The purpose of this position is to assist the HEALing Communities team with policy research and writing work. This position will report to the Study’s Scientific leads and support research related to state and national opioid policy. Preferred qualifications include: experience working with large datasets, statistical programming and good organizational and writing skills. GRA responsibilities: organize datasets, conduct statistical analyses and prepare reports and papers. Develop and deploy a tracking process for monitoring laws, rules, regulations, policies, and processes focused on opioid use disorder treatment. Advise staff on trending issues and barriers related to the treatment of opioid use disorder. Prepare policy summaries and communicate policy issues through presentations and talking points |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Interest in Policy. Experience working with large datasets, statistical programming and good organizational and writing skills. |
