Within ASML the sector Customer Support is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations.

One of the departments in this sector is CS Upgrades, which is responsible for providing technical upgrade support to customers and service engineers within the Customer Support organization.

## **Job Mission**

The Group Lead CS Upgrades Field directly reports to the Continental CS Upgrades Manager Field.

The Group Lead CS Upgrades Field will interface with CS Upgrades staff, CS and Upgrades PLs in the field and Veldhoven.

The GL CS Upgrades Field will also have limited internal interface with NPI, D&E; and local CS field offices as well as external interfaces with customers while onsite.

## **Job Description**

The GL CS Upgrades Field will work with the CS Upgrades staff and PL’s to plan and make all necessary preparations for the on-time execution of the upgrades.
The group you will manage consists of CS Upgrades Field engineers; CS Upgrades Field Coordinators and Generalists.
As a group leader you are responsible for ensuring the team members have the right skills and proper development plans.
Your main responsibilities:

* Identify and justify resource claims and recruit the right team members

* Set challenging targets and execute performance reviews

* Continuously mentor your team to success, improve underperformance and develop talents

* Coach and develop your team into fully operational engineers

* Prioritize and allocate team members to activities with group planners and PM’s

* Drive continuous improvement in processes and way of working

* Process owner of departmental processes

* Create and execute department strategy on how to improve company processes.

## **Education**

BS degree in Electronics / Mechanical or equivalent experience.

## **Experience**

Engineers/Supervisors with greater than 5 years’ experience in a CS support department for high tech products.

Photo-lithography, Electro-Mechanical, and Ultra Clean Vacuum.

Engineers with at least 3 years of ASML micro-lithography system metrology experience with some supervisory and project coordination experience is preferred.

Be able to influence without power of borrowed resources.
Flexibility to travel in short notice and frequent domestic or international travel (up to 30-40%) if needed. You will be working in a very dynamic and high pace environment.
