Job Summary | The Proposal Development Office at the University of Kentucky (UK) is seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent project management skills for a position as a proposal project manager, who will actively participate with campus-wide programs within the Office of the Vice President for Research and various UK research support units to support preparation of multiple complex programmatic grant proposals. The primary responsibility will be to support diverse multidisciplinary UK research teams and muti-institutional teams applying for complex programmatic grants that require intensive pre-submission assistance, operational and organizational project management, and coordination of and communication with large groups of people working through the complex grant submission processes. The position requires the ability to understand the sponsor organization’s funding priorities across diverse research fields; to work within a university-wide network of faculty, staff, and research administrators to meet sponsor objectives and with external partners; and to coordinate the efforts of large teams to ensure proposal milestones are met in compliance with internal and external requirements. This job requires a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
