This is a 20 hour per week position. Working some evenings and weekends will be required.

Job Summary

Duties of the GA position include:
Support prospective student processes, including leading some related sessions under
the direction of the Director of Student Relations;
Travel to and represent the college at various recruitment events at various locations,
on and off-campus, local, state, and regional, etc.
Assist Director of Student Relations in supporting Student Ambassador program,
including class/meeting attendance, training and retreats, as well as on-going student
development of that team;
Complete various administrate tasks including calendar/scheduling support, mailings,
data entry, copies, creating packets of information for various recruitment needs;
Assisting and directing faculty, students and guests to appropriate locations;
Answer incoming calls, return messages, and direct callers to appropriate offices;
Provide directions to the college, buildings, and parking;
Support project needs related to marketing and communications where appropriate;
Support annual college scholarship review process;
Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Skills required:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge and willingness to learn about CAFE and ability to relate that knowledge
Commitment to promoting the field of agriculture to prospective students
