The Global Marketing Senior Manager - EVENITY (Bone) will report to the EVENITY Global Marketing Lead and will be responsible for leading marketing activities to drive EVENITY's growth across regions.EVENITY is a joint effort between Amgen and UCB. EVENITY was recently launched in 2019 to treat women with post-menopausal osteoporosis at high risk for fracture. The remit of this global marketing role is to partner with the regional teams (e.g., US, EU, JAPAC, Intercontinental) to identify and embed the marketing strategy, and develop global deliverables that can drive further growth of EVENITY. This role will be tightly integrated with our existing Global Bone franchise to ensure consistency within the Amgen bone health portfolio.

Key responsibilities of this position:

• Consulting, integrating and communicating with key stakeholders globally (Bone marketing team, medical, value & access, advocacy, patient centricity)

• Leading the development of high quality, integrated EVENITY global marketing deliverables with regional variations to meet local needs

• Participating and contributing towards development of the EVENITY global strategy and efforts (examples: Life Cycle Management Strategy, international expansion, input into evidence generation plans )

• Identifying and evaluating scalable innovation beyond the molecule

• Partnering with the market research lead to design research that informs key decisions, and participating in these market research

• Assessing market and performance data and drawing key insights for effective decision-making

• Providing oversight of third party partners (e.g., creative agency) and overall management of project budgets

• Partnering with the regional Bone marketing team members to ensure pull-through of global strategy and deliverables

• Complying with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Amgen activities

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with strong experience in marketing strategy execution, and multiple facets of drug commercialization (market research, campaign development, content development)

• Demonstrated experience working with (or at) a creative agency

• Bone health or women's health experience

• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence effectively within a matrix structure.

• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional partners to develop impactful program strategies that are based on market insights

• Knowledge of and experience in working with medical and access teams.

• Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence teams with diverse backgrounds.

• Strong competitive mindset, including ability to champion ideas, make decisions and focus on results

• Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills

• Strong business judgment and emotional intelligence

• Act as a role model for others in line with Amgen values
