Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (40 hours/week), some evenings and weekends as required.

Job Summary

The Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life serves as an essential member of the staff in both advising and programming. The coordinator will serve as the primary advisor to the United Greek Council, which houses special-interest and culturally-based fraternal organizations. Council advising responsibilities include overseeing council officers, participating in the planning and execution of programs and facilitating growth of member organizations. Additionally, the Coordinator will serve as a chapter coach for a portfolio of chapters across all four governing councils, providing regular support and guidance to chapter leadership. The Coordinator will also be responsible for the office’s marketing efforts, which includes managing social media platforms, creating print materials, supporting governing council officers representing the overall community and overseeing the participation of the department in recruitment and orientation events.

Ideal candidates will have experience advising diverse student populations and organizations in fraternity and sorority life, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with program design and implementation, supporting new chapters or working with special interest fraternities and sororities would be appealing characteristics.

Preferred Education/Experience

Working with students, program design and implementation, organization development.

Master’s Degree and 1 year experience highly preferred.

Driver’s license preferred.
