Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Minimum 3 - 5 years financial and data analysis knowledge with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in health care required.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial & Data Analyst II is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The Financial & Database Analyst serves as the primary super user of the Raisers Edge database including reporting, oversee gift entry, and data quality of constituent information.
Performs a variety of tasks. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years financial & data analysis experience required; Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the ability to perform the department specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires desk and computer work a majority of the day, with frequent walking, standing and reaching.
The department specific Assessment and Evaluation Tool lists the essential functions of this position.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
