Job Summary

Located in Bowling Green, Ky.
Provide farm financial record analysis and objective farm management counseling to approximately 50 farmer-cooperators, including financial analysis and income tax management. Assist in state-wide analysis of farm production and financial data collected from cooperators for applied research, enterprise analysis, and other studies. Collaborate with faculty, county agricultural agents, and farm-related agencies to develop farm management educational programs for individuals outside of the Association. Assist and develop leadership within local board of directors.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

MS Excel and Windows; technical writing, and speaking before an audience.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience

Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics or related field with emphasis in farm management required.

Ability to work and communicate effectively with farmers and Agricultural Economics faculty is essential.

Experience in farm business management and farm background are highly desired.

Drivers license preferred.
