primarily days Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., additional hours as needed

Job Summary

Responsibilities include: using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) database, analyze healthcare facility and statewide level data and build reports; report on HIV data; conduct epidemiologic studies as part of outbreak investigations; analyze other data sets & build reports; collaborate with internal and external partners.

A writing sample that highlights your writing and communication skills is required (Specific Request 1).

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Internet, GIS, SAS, SPSS, and EPI Info.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience

Two years of experience as an epidemiologist or in providing epidemiology functions
